CVT SBIE VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS
CVT SBIE aims at contributing in the development of human manpower by providing flexible programs within the framework of lifetime education and training.Programs addressed to Unemployed:
Our organization, within the scope of the Entrepreneurial program "Employment and Professional Training" co-funded by the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection and by the European Commission (75%), has implemented several continuous vocational training programs with each having a total duration of 400 hours, out of which 240 hours were devoted to theoretical training, which was held in CVT's SBIE accommodations and 160 hours of practical training, which were realized in the enterprises that cooperate with CVT SBIE.Training Seminars on Information Technology & Communication ("ITC")
Our organization within the framework of the Entrepreneurial program "Community of Information" implemented nine programs in Basic Qualifications on ITC co-funded by the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection and the European Commission, with total duration 100 hours addressed to graduates of High school and/or graduates of Institutions of Educational Training. The programs were successfully completed and 180 trainees received a certification of skills from the following organizations:
- Cambridge International Servises
- Microsoft
- ECDL
CVT SBIE also implemented a program of Interchangeable Training that aimed to develop specialized skills on MS Visual Basic with total duration 850 hours addressed to graduates of Higher Education and/or Higher Technical Education.
Training Seminars on Basic Qualifications on Information Technology & Communication ("ITC") II
Our organization within the framework of the Entrepreneurial program "Community of Information" implements twelve programs in Basic Qualifications on ITC, which are co-funded by the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection and the European Social Fund. The programs have a total duration of 100 hours and are addressed to graduates of High school and/or graduates of Institutions of Educational Training. The programs will take place within the periods of 7.9.2005 until 14.12.2005 and also from 11.10.2005 until 14.12.2005. Our organization will cooperate for the certification of skills' exams with Microsoft in order for the 240 trainees to receive a certification of skills from Microsoft.

Programs addressed to Employees- In-house training for Businesses:
In-house training for Businesses promotes the competitiveness of a company by advancing the qualifications of its employees.Until today our organization has implemented via LAEK 1-25 and LAEK 0.45 means several In-house training programs in many enterprises and other organizations, such as the following:
- Hospital for Chronic Diseases in Attiki
- Hospital of Kipseli
- Spare Service AE
- Hellenic Association of Medical Diagnostic Centers
- Used Car Spares' Union
The following in-house training programmes have been implemented:
New Programmes
CVT SBIE, within the framework of the Corporate program "Competitiveness 2000-2006" of the Ministry of Development, is going to implement the vocational training program titled "Marketing Plan". The program focuses mainly on the company's orientation towards the consumer and/or user as regards the goods and/or services produced and/or offered to him/her. The marketing must define the form and/or the kind, the quantity and/or the quality of the goods and/or the services that will be produced and offered to the customers.
The overall program has duration of 120 hours, out of which 84 hours are focused on theory and 36 hours on practice in associated enterprises. The program is addressed to businessmen/women under Measure 2.8. as well as to new businessmen with two years of practice in Attiki, within the scope of the program titled "Training Measures and Transmission of Knowledge regarding with the start up of business activities under Measure 2.8 via the upgrading of the human dynamic".
Funds: The trainees will be funded with 3,52 euro gross for every training hour.
In-house Training for Businesses
Our organization is going to implement the following in-house training programmes:| Conditions of Attendance | |
| All the programmes have a total duration of 200 hours out of which 80 hrs are theory and 120 hrs are training. | |
| Title: "Public Relations and New Marketing techniques". The objective of this programme is to enlighten the participants in the works of Marketing, to aid the participants in familiarizing themselves with the Marketing tools and finally to help them in the implementation process of Marketing in their respective work places |
For employees in enterprises with personnel of 1 up to 50 persons |
| Title: "Design and Management of the E-Commerce Networks". The participants will familiarize themselves with new technologies and as a result they will be in the position to facilitate their business in the implementation of new up-to-date forms of presentation of their business activities. |
For employees in enterprises with personnel of 50 persons and above |
| Title: "Techniques of Communication with the customer and Sale of touristic packages". This programme aims at enhancing the knowledge and experience of the participants in relation to the processes for the efficient organization of work. The participants will acquire the prerequisite knowledge and qualifications in relation to the techniques of communication with the customer for the sale of touristic packages. |
For employees in enterprises with personnel of 1 up to 50 persons |
| Title: "Prevention of accidents in the work place ".
This programme deals with the several accidents that might arise in the work place and the way to prevent them. |
For employees in enterprises with personnel of 50 persons and above |
| Title: "Computerized System for the organization of the Accounts' Department". This programme has as its main goal the theoretical and practical training of the participants in the computerized accounts of the medium sized enterprises. |

Education of Instructors
CVT SBIE within the framework of the entrepreneurial programme "Employment and Professional Training" is going to materialize the project with title "Education of Instructors of Continuing Professional Training". In total 90 instructors will be trained by way of tutorials (69 hrs) and by personal reading (231 hrs) of the materials (700 pages).
