EUROPEAN PROGRAMMES
CVT SBIE and European Co-operations
CVT SBIE actively and continuously participates in various European Programs. The Office of European Programs of CVT SBIE is involved in a range of programs, which are part of the framework for development of new educational systems. To date, CVT SBIE has participated in several European programmes. Such as:
- LEONARDO DA VINCI with the following educational institutions as partners:
- Centre Medical de Forcilles, France
- Ayia Marina, Cyprus
- Roc Nijmegen, Holland
- Subject:
Initial professional training of unemployed persons in businesses within the field of Health professions and in particular Radiography Laboratories and Nutrition. Once the trainees get accustomed to the new surroundings, they take language courses and are afterwards placed in the businesses where they apply the theoretical knowledge acquired into practice.
- LEONARDO DA VINCI with the following educational institutions as partners:

- Tampere institute for Social and Health Care Studies
- Roc Nijmegen, Holland
- Subject: Initial professional training of unemployed persons in businesses within the field of Health professions and in particular Radiography Laboratories, Beauty Therapy, Infant care and Nutrition. The trainees are provided with courses on the relevant subjects as well as language courses and are afterwards placed in the businesses where they apply the theoretical knowledge acquired into practice.

- Subject: Development of educational programs addressed to unemployed for the care at home of old aged people through innovative methods of training.
- GRUNDTVIG, MORGANA- Models of Adult Educational Organization with the following educational institutions as partners:

- Kaunas Region Edu Centre, Lithuania
- IES Lucus Augusti, Spain
- Subject: The objective of the program is the elaboration on innovative educational tools in accordance with the general philosophy of adult education within the European program SOCRATES. The aim of the abovementioned program is the familiarization with new models of education for adults, mature employees who return to education and to the labour market after proper training.

- Subject: The program has as an objective the elaboration on innovative pedagogical approaches with the aim to smoothly integrate foreign students in the student community as well as the community at large through both school and non-school related programs.

Subject: The project aims firstly to improve the quality of touristic services offered to PSN by means of an innovative vocational training of all relevant hotel staff (including PSN employees), combining ICT based learning with on-the-job training and continuing (life-long) training schemes; secondly, to adapt all relevant training didactics and material to the needs of PSN in order to enhance the PSN's employability in the touristic sector and finally to develop e-learning tools to monitor and enhance the quality of vocational training in accessibility issues at the touristic sector.
