CVT FACILITIES
Library
CVT SBIE's library facilitates the research, study and information needs of both students and faculty. Its collection consists of several Greek and foreign books, as well as CD-ROM titles. Visitors may use these, and print out the articles of their interest.
Internet Access point
In recognition of the evolution of technology and its significance to lifelong training, CVT SBIE also has two Internet-connected PCs available to students, in a 20m² space on the first floor.
Mobility Impaired Students; Students with Special Needs
Every measure has been taken to ensure that students with special needs are accommodated for during their studies and training in CVT SBIE. To this end, the elevator is specially designed for their use, with a sound recording that describes its progress. In addition, CVT SBIE has special WCs that are spacious and equipped with all necessary items (hand rails etc). They are amply lighted and aired, and built with easily maintained material.
Other Areas
A number of other areas are provided at CVT SBIE, which are not imposed by Greek regulations, but which - according to our experience - are necessary. These include a Student and Public Reception Area, a Medical and First Aid Office, a Nursery and a private parking area for mobility-impaired visitors.
